I have had such a ball doing this 365 project and thought I would share where I am so far in the project. I am 14 pictures from being totally caught up until today. It takes me more time to print the journalling than it does to construct the layouts.
Here is my scrap booking space while I am creating things....a total mess:

Drawers and doors open, stuff everywhere...

And here is what it looks like when I finish for a day or for several hours even. I can't stand disorganization and when I come back to it, it has to be cleaned off:

OK, now for the 365 project so far:

This is the album I bought yesterday, by American Crafts. Love the color!!

Title page, haven't done much with it....picture is thanks to Becky Higgins inspiration. Very difficult to set up.

December 28-January 3rd

January 4-11

January 12-18

January 19-25

January 26-31

February 1-7

February 8-14
And finally, this layout isn't finished, but I wanted to show off the "Bling" I made today...it's the B block....

Most of this was for Catie's benefit because when we go to S. Carolina in a couple of weeks, I can't bring it with me.

Wow! You did a great job! That's all from the download? I didn't think that all of that was available to download. You have inspired me to try this on my own! Thanks!
Another 365'er w/o the kit
You took a picture of scrapbooking, then you scrapbooked it, then you took another picture of your scrapbook, which goes on your blog, and you'll scrapbook it again.... Now if you take a picture of your computer screen showing a blogpost about you scrapbooking and you scrapbook that... something might blow up.
Wow!! What a wonderful job you have done. I followed your link from Becky's blog. I have been doing the photos but have not gotten started yet. Please tell me the name of your inserts for your album. Not sure where we could get them here in South Africa.
Aren't the first flowers of Spring just so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
This was fun to actually get comments. Lindsay, that's why I said it was for project 365 people, because I posted a link on Becky Higgins blog about my blog. How else was this nice lady in South Africa to see it??? But I have to agree, I am a bit obsessive...it will probably be the last time I post such things..it was for info only. The downloads are from the KOTM blog site and I just followed the directions. I got 8 journalling blocks, 4 "week of" titles and two colorful blocks that I cut in half and insert in the 8th pocket of the week and decorate a little. Again, the binder is American Crafts, which I purchased at Archiver's, the pages are WE R Memory Keepers, again from Archiver's and the day stamp is "Just rite, word and number stamper" which I also purchased at Archiver's but it was 50% off, so I don't know if that is because it is discontinued or they just don't carry it anymore. IT is really cool because it has all 26 letters and the numbers in every slot for 12 spaces so I can do anything I want with it. I'm glad someone is watching...it's been fun.
Well, you got me inspired today. I had already done the downloads but i got busy and printed. I had to do the printing twice as i had just printed and something did not look just right then i went back to Becky's blog and saw they had to be 4"x6". Oh they came out so nice. Tomorrow I wil start to enquire where i can get the sleeves.Oh please don't let this be your last on 365 please show us more, it is so nice to see it all together. Love how you journal.
Yes, please keep showing us your work. I have figured out everything, except the long, clear month titles on some kind of clear acitate. Did you use a Staz it stamp pad? What type of acitate did you use too? Maybe you just took a 12 x 12 sheet and cut it accordingly? I also see that the original scrapbook is a "D" ring that CK used. I am not sure there are any scrapbooks out there that will hold 52 weeks. Am I incorrect? Maybe you could email me, I'd love to chat. abroeker@neb.rr.com
Yes, I had to use a Stazon Stamp pad and I am buying only one at a time as they are 9.00/piece. The acetate is from Archiver's and is 12x12. I cut it with my regular paper cutter and it cuts like a dream. I'm really hoping that my binder will hold 52 weeks, we will see and come June if it is looking full, it will be a 2 volume edition. It's just so fun, I don't want that to damped my enthusiasm. I took it to work and the gals went nuts for it.
I can see why the gals at worked loved it! I am now doing it just like you and am having fun. This whole fiasco almost took the fun right out of this project. I am going to go to Sam's tonight to see if I can just get these 4 x 6 journaling cards printed just like a picture. I hope it works. Thanks for all the help!
Amy, you are right, there was such a damper on the whole thing but Hey!! we can do it on our own.I am just storing everything in a flip file for now till I can get the sleeves. This is really a wonderful project and it makes you take pics of things you did not think were important. Well gals enjoy, I will be coming back to check out how Chris is doing, so please do not stop!! Thanks for sharing.
you have done such a wonderful job with this. i am doing mine with the baseball card sheets and it is going great.. but i want to do it next year like what the kit looks like. i have made more journaling cards by just cutting and pasting to get a blank card and them putting some digital designs on it and printing them off. I want to try to find those sleeves but we don't have those here in Toronto, i have been looking though. But great job, you have inspired me to look more so i can get my kit ready for next year. thanks
Wow great job and good for you!! If I don't get mine you have definitely inspired me to continue with it on my own!
Great Job...Did you sew the 4x6 pockets in half for the journaling cards. Do tell...
Yep, I measured and put a post it note on the mark and then sewed the pocket with a slightly larger stitch than normal.
I found the link to this on the KOTM blog and I wanted to tell you that you totally inspired me to do my own Project 365 with materials I pick. I'm actually getting a kit soon (i.e. it shipped last week) but I'm going to sell it on eBay and use the proceeds to do my own. Thanks for the inspiration!
