Wednesday, April 1st, tough job for a friend
This morning after work, I had a little test done for which I needed an IV. Well, I know so many people at the hospital because I have been there for almost 20 years. I've known the guy who did the test for that long not only because he works there, but our kids went to school together. He took one look at my veins and chickened out. He went to get one of the nurses, who is a good friend of mine. We were best buds when we worked in the GI Lab together. I could tell as soon as she walked into the room that she would be intimidated by the job. It's a given, if you know the person, or that patient is in the medical field, you will miss the vein and she did. I felt bad for her, but I have been in her shoes before.
It's ok, Riki, all is forgiven, no harm, no foul...

Test? What test??
Oh, when I had my chest x-ray at the beginning of the month, which I have once a year, they saw a little thing in my lung. I think this is my third CT of the chest for the same little thing and they always determine it is scar tissue. I am not worried in the least about it, but I have a very aggressive oncologist.
Please let me know what they say.....
I got a call from the oncologists office this afternoon and it was nothing. I knew it would be...
