A Bang Up Bunco Night

Last night, I hosted Bunco. It is the first time in almost 3 years that we had a full complement of players, which means we played with 16.
It was tight, but it worked. The noise level was incredible with chatter, laughter and noise makers. Also, there was a ton of food!!
I made the score cards, and when you got a win or a Bunco, you applied a star:One of the players was late, so Candice and her friend Megan played for a while.I didn't get the Harry Potter get up, but they were so cute and so willing to help out.
It could have been because I got reindeer antlers yesterday.

Tricia ended up with the Bunco bear at the end:
That means she had the last Bunco, winning $15.00.
Robin was the big winner, getting the most Buncos and winning $30.00. I think it was exciting to have a bigger pot to play for.
After doling out the winning money, we had our new tradition of a "White Elephant". It is always a hoot to see what people pull out of their houses.
Now, that's hideous, but someone actually traded for it, because she has a co-worker that is having a baby and she really doesn't like her.
A Christmas bear making out with the Bunco Bear.
This was the coolest vintage "dancing bunny". My friend Patsy would go nuts for that. When you rotate it to the left, the bunny dances. It has to be from the 20's or so.
This was the hottest items, a bottle of orange flavored vodka. What a bunch of lushes!!!
I actually almost bought a Chia Pet yesterday, but they are up to $12.00!!!
Ooh, can you see these lovely kitties perched in your living room????
Can you say U-G-L-Y?????
Because we are having a white elephant at small group on Monday, I can see this lovely time piece showing up then.
This was what I gave; a snowman night light, a musical mug (so annoying, it plays every time you pick it up), and little slipper socks that say Ho, ho, ho on the bottom. We decided it was for a night of lovin' for Angie because she had lights, music and her ho socks on. All she needed was the pole, then Hillary opened hers:

It's penguins at the North Pole...really.
All in all, a successful night.
I got something pretty wonderful:

I stole this pretty display stand from Barb. Debbie put it in the exchange because she doesn't like this kind of stuff. I also got a great chip and dip platter from her last year.
That's all my ramblings for today. Tomorrow I will have another wonderful party to share with you. The first of three in a row.
