Chuck and I don't profess to be gardeners or have green thumbs, but we have tried to make our yard a pretty place. Yesterday, the
service berry tree in the front started it's show.

It's called a
service berry because it is a four season tree. It blooms in the spring, has green leaves in the summer, turns a beautiful shade of orange in the fall and has berries in the winter.
Now you see those legs sticking out from behind the tree?

That's me, spreading mulch. We bought 12 bags of mulch on Sunday at a fundraiser and it was just enough to cover this side bed around to the patio. Needless to say, last night, I was totally exhausted!!
