I have made the Yellow Brick Road Quilt 3 times and have moderated in the making of it a fourth time and every time I make it, I mess it up. It is probably one of the easiest patterns out there, but if you don't read ahead, you can definitely mess it up. And I did again this time. It's not super evident, but those of you who have made this quilt before will see what I did wrong. The person getting it is not a quilter, so hopefully she won't know.
Tonight I hosted our quilt group and we had a great showing and only missed Elaine and Saline, who both have viable excuses. We always have show and tell and Celia finished her quilt that she had started at retreat. I think it is a real jaw dropper. You can't see the quilting on it, but it is just phenomenal and all on her sewing machine and free motion!!!
