This is Danielle and is for her baby, Nathan. Joni quilted it with rocking horses and all sorts of baby items in the same buttery yellow color and the background fabric. She loved it.
This is Agnes, and is for her baby girl Emily. I used a template I purchased at the quilt show two years ago. It is called the Flip-flop block and was really fun to cut out, but the points aren't always as perfect as I would have liked. Then I learned you can't tear out flannel mistakes because the flannel just shreds. So, I had to live with some off seams. After washing it, you can't even find them. Joni quilted it with similar daisies and swirls to match the wild background fabric. Neither gal had received any quilts as gifts, so I was happy for that.
