Today, I was at the fairgrounds by 9:30 to rearrange my items in the boutique (yet again) and be in place for my first volunteer job at 10 which was meeting and greeting at the door.
It takes an army of volunteers to pull off a show of this quality and quantity:

Ticket sales which at this time was manned by Claire Machinist.

Raffle quilt ticket sales, Andrea
Krier and Margaret.

Boutique.

Our boutique chair on the right, Donna Fitzgerald.

The first quilts seen on admission were the past winners. This gorgeous Star was made by my friend Mary Morris and was the best in show two years ago. Just yesterday, she gave me all the scraps from this quilt for my stash!!

Other areas of interest were the silent auction.

And the Hoffman Challenge from 2008.

There were about 16 vendors and I had such fun in some of the booths. There was an area for sit and sew, which I took advantage of in the afternoon. And by appointment, there was a quilt appraiser.
A really great day, but I think from walking on the concrete floors all day, I was again totally exhausted and crashed very early.
