Today was the project day with the challenge fabric. I hosted which was fun because today is chilly, cloudy and a good day to stay indoors.
The group and their projects:

Celia, the art quilter is doing a "strata" quilt with strips and swirly waves.

Can you find the focus fabric in there?

Saline and a swirly table runner.

There's that fabric

Here's Diane's project of choice.

It's quite a few fabrics, here are some of her fabrics.

Elaine with her fabric and the ones that go with it.

The pattern for the table runner that she made....yes, made, even machine quilted today. All that's left is the binding.

The beautiful array of fabrics for Kathy's project.

The table topper she is making, which is paper pieced.

The beginning of my project, a variety of marbles in the colors in the focus fabric.

This is the first block finished. Isn't it pretty??? I got it out of a book that is all strip pieced quilts. Can't wait to show the finished project.

We were warm and cozy in the basement and had two meals together.

What a fun day with my friends!!! (yes, we still missed Deb and Colleen)
After everyone left, we snuggled down in the family room and Candice made a fire.

Just a perfect day, with one exception, my Catie.....She will be home in a little more than two weeks...and I can hardly wait!!
