A "sweet" ride

Because all things that need repair or medical help happen in this house on the weekend, I had to hurry up yesterday morning and get the van in for repair. I am working Monday night and need the headlights to drive to work. So, we got in to the Kia dealer in Libertyville. They didn't have any loaners, so they sent us across the street to the rental car place. I told them that we had to have a vehicle that had reclining seats because Chuck can't sit on his butt. So they set us up with this:Can you guess what this is boys and girls????
That's right, a Hummer. Don't think I didn't feel just a little guilty riding around in it yesterday. With our present gas crisis, I have looked with disdain on the people that drive one. I could almost visibly watch the gas gauge drop as I had to make two trips to Libertyville yesterday. The second trip was to take Chuck's films to the Neurosurgeon.
I know that after driving this beast, I will never want one. Even though I am tall, I almost need a step ladder to get in and out of it. You should have seen the men that came in the rental office right after us and immediately asked for the Hummer. They were salivating.
Makes a good story.....
